I’ve started playing Mass Effect: Andromeda on my PlayStation 4. I haven’t delved very deeply into the game yet, but I have one thing to gripe about that I haven’t seen anywhere else (I haven’t exactly scoured the ‘net for this info, either) –
For a game that takes place on a current generation console in an era of great science and technological marvels that we can only dream of, I am deeply disappointed that you can’t pause the game unless your character is doing absolutely nothing.
Color me unimpressed at this lack of forethought.
I know I’m a bit late with this, but bear with me; I haven’t had a ton of time to write lately (I still have other posts to get up and out of the way and I’m also working on voice overs for a Fallout 4 mod) but I wanted to at least shout out Horizon Zero Dawn – the game that has had a monopoly on my spare time.
Horizon Zero Dawn – at a first glance – seems like a generic game with lush landscapes and a rugged female lead. While playing it, it has common ground with games like Tomb Raider (the reboot, at least) and Uncharted. Don’t let similarities fool you – this title stands on its own and shines for miles.

Datamine, returning character, new enemies, and more.
While perusing the internet looking for anything new about the upcoming RE7 DLC content, I found a lot of theories – and quite a bit of information. While some of it is most likely speculation, there is also a lot of information that can go either way. Everything from here on out is strictly labeled as a SPOILER so don’t read on if you don’t wish to be spoiled. Continue reading “Resident Evil 7: Not A Hero DLC Leaked Info”

The first batch of DLC for Resident Evil 7 rolled out this week and I was actually quite surprised at how well the new modes played. The DLC is titled Banned Footage Vol. 1 and contains three new modes for players to enjoy. Continue reading “Resident Evil 7 Banned Footage Vol. 1”
As a longtime Resident Evil fan I was excited to learn about Capcom including Madhouse difficulty in Resident Evil 7. Madhouse difficulty is unlocked by completing the game on any difficulty or from the very start as a pre-order bonus, and aimed at hardcore players and those looking for more of a challenge then the other difficulties offer. So what exactly are the differences on Madhouse difficulty?

We’re just a few short hours away from the first DLC release, and according to Capcom Unity, we have three new modes to check out in Banned Footage #1.
- Bedroom: Figure out how to escape from a locked room – but don’t let Marguerite Baker know you’ve been out of bed.
- Nightmare: Fend off waves of enemies and survive until morning.
- Extra Mode – Ethan Must Die: A tough-as-nails mode separate from the tapes and story of the main game. (Does not support PSVR)
Coming to PS4 on February 14 (from Capcom, with love), there is another release, Banned Footage #2, also with two more VHS scenarios.
- 21: Gamble life and limb in a deadly game run by Lucas Baker.
- Daughters: See what the Baker family was like before the tragic events of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard.
- Extra Mode – Jack’s 55th Birthday: Race against the clock and feed Jack tons of food in this comical extra game mode separate from the tapes and story of the main game. (Does not support PSVR)
Both releases will be a Playstation 4 exclusive until February 21st, when it will then be available on other platforms.
*As soon as the DLC is released, there will be an update with more detail on the first set of modes.
